Client OS is the preferred Operating System for Desktop and Laptops, example Windows 10, Linux Mint, MAC OS.
Network OS is the preferred Operating System for the servers and Mainframe devices, these are powerful devices used to control the client machines.
IOS stands for Internetwork Operating System, these are the most used versions in Cisco Routers and Switches, At present Cisco routers work on version 15 and higher.
RTOS stands for Real Time Operating System, these are the operating system designed for mobile devices for real time response, example are Android, symbion, Windows phone OS 10 and Windows CE or Palm OS.
